We’d by no means thought we’d design a digital living space…
but when we obtained the chance to collaborate on The Residing by Structure Showhouse with Nationwide Media spouse Martha Stewart Dwelling and the output workforce at Embello, we could not wait to get on board.

Inspiration
We drew inspiration for this virtual structure from its serene environment in Bedford, NY, searching to the lakeside colours and textures to create our muted product palette. The artwork hung over the fire embodies how we required this room to come to feel — comfortable, lived-in, and character-pushed. Pulling from the colors of the artwork piece and the virtual home’s spot, we curated the blended wood tones, vintage accents, and pillow mixtures to replicate the homes’ environment.
The wonderful room
Having cues from the home’s peaceful setting, we centered on bringing the emotion of the outdoor in when building this space. Centered close to discussion, the layout of this style encourages collecting, with a fireplace and artwork piece replacing the regular Television set focal stage. Every element works together to encourage a sensation of heat, from the organic stone carried from the exterior and wood designed-ins to the boucle and travertine textures integrated by way of the furniture and styling choices.
The parts
We curated a handful of of our favourite furniture parts to enhance the muted palette of the place, mixing and layering elements from textural boucle to relaxed linen. Accent vintage-influenced items and decor convey the style and design to everyday living and complete this elevated and comfortable lakeside appear.
